TERMS

2.5 % 10Days Nett. Failure to settle within 30 days will result in no further deliveries of orders until the account is cleared. Prompt settlement will avoid possible needless embarrassments. Title to the goods listed on an invoice will not pass to the buyer until such time as payment has been received in full. The Company reserves the right to charge interest at 2% on any overdue accounts over three months old.

PRICE FLUCTUATIONS

All prices are subject to alteration or correction without notice. Orders are accepted on the understanding that prices ruling on the date of despatch will be charged.

CARRIAGE CHARGES

To anywhere on the mainland carriage paid is £150. Carriage paid limits exclude V.A.T. and ignore settlement discount. Excluding items marked CARRIAGE EXTRA and some Weight Training Equipment.

SMALL ORDERS

All orders of under £50.00 excluding V.A.T. will be subject to a surcharge of £2.00. As a wholesale company the cost of labour, packing and administration on these small orders is enormous.

CLAIMS

Shortages and damage in transit must be notified to us not later than three days after receipt of goods. Goods must be signed for as damaged, parcel pilfered or broken open: generally ‘not examined’ will not be detailed enough to claim. Non-delivery must be notified within ten days after invoice date.

NEW ACCOUNTS

On placing a first order customers are requested to supply full address and telephone number, bankers address and two trade references. New customers requiring immediate despatch of initial order must send cheque to cover the order to avoid delay in establishing credit rating.

RETURNS

The buyer shall have no right to require BB Sports to take back and give credit for products correctly supplied to the buyer. If, at the absolute discretion of the supplier, non-defective product is accepted back then the supplier reserves the right to levy a handling charge of not less than 10% of the values of the goods returned. Products, which the buyer considers defective, should be made available for collection or returned by post ONLY as authorised by the supplier. Products must be identified with the name of the buyer, date purchased and the reason for the return. BB Sports cannot be held responsible for lost returns not previously authorised by the supplier.

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

(A) Until the purchase price for the goods comprised in any contract shall have been paid in cash or, if by cheque satisfied in full by clearance through our bank. (1) The goods comprised in any contract of purchase shall remain the property of BB Sports Distributors (not withstanding the delivery and passing of the risk in such goods and already taken place). (2) BB Sports Distributors may at any time trust the contract as cancelled and recover and resell the goods (if in the buyers possession) if the buyer shall fail to pay for the goods as agreed or the buyer shall become insolvent. For this purpose BB Sports Distributors, its servants or agents together with appropriate transport may enter upon the buyer’s or such other premises upon which the goods are situated. (B) The risk in respect of all goods supplied shall pass to the buyer upon the goods leaving BB Sports Distributors.
